Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor was born on April 16, 1996, in Miami Florida. It is said that she's half English, part Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentine of Scottish and English descent. Her mother is of Spanish and English descendance. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria region of London. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was difficult as she refused to take classes in English since she was hoping to go back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's plays. After 16 she left school in order to take on acting as a profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to become an actress and her dream came true when she received a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
