Rauw Alejandro

Raul Alejandro Ruiz (born 10 January 1993) is professionally known as Rauw Alejandro, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. He is referred to as "the King of Contemporary Reggaeton"[2][3and is part of "the new generation" of Puerto Rican urban artists. The album he released as his debut studio album Afrodisiaco was released in November of 2020. Vice Versa was his second studio album. The album's lead track, "Todo de Ti", was released in June 2021. Two Latin Grammy Awards have been awarded to him out of 12 nominations. Raul Alejandro Ruiz is a Latin Grammy Award winner was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on the 10th of January 1993. He was also raised in Canovanas and Carolina. [4][5] His father Raul Ocasio Ruiz was a musician and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz was his vocalist backing. He was introduced to music by Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. Alejandro and his father lived for many years in the United States. They mainly resided in New York City and Miami. [7][8] Alejandro and his fellow Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA are childhood acquaintances. They each attended the same school and took classes together. When they were children, Alejandro competed in school talent shows as he had an obsession with dancing. When he graduated from high school, he enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico. Rauw Alejandro's style of music includes Latin R&B, reggaeton, ballads, and rhythmic pop. Billboard said that this has helped him make a name for himself among a increasing number of pop-oriented reggaetoneros.
